Reservation

Q.Since when can we make a reservation?

From 6 months prior to the check-in date. 
*Depends on the conditions and the time of the year

Q.Can we add breakfast to our reservation?

Breakfast voucher is available at the front desk.

Q.What is the hotel cancellation policy?

Cancellation fee will be charged as follows;
20% of room rate for five days notice.
50% of room rate for one day notice.
80% of room rate for notice on the day.
100% of room rate for no notice or show.

*Please contact the booking site for any changes of your reservation. We may not be able to accept any amendment at our hotel. 

Children policy

Q.Can we stay with our children?

It will depend on the age of your children.
Since we would like our guest to enjoy the atmosphere of relaxing moment and also due to the constructure design of our hotel, we're sorry to say that any children under age of 12 may not stay in our hotel.
If your children are over 13 years of age, we will welcome them as 1 adult.
Our room can only accept 2 guests in a room, so please make sure to book another room if you're planning to stay with 3 or more person. We appreciate for your understandings.

Check-in / Check-out

Q.What time is check-in time?

Check-in: 14:00
In case your estimate time of arrival will be after 22:00, please contact us in advance.

Q.Is it okay to check-in with different reservation name?

Yes, only if you know the reservation name correctly.
But please change the reservation name to the actual guest's name as soon as possible in order to have a smooth check in on site.

Q.What time is check-out time?

Check-out: 11:00AM
Extending check-out time will be charged as follows;
Untill 12:00: 3,000JPY
Untill 13:00: 6,000JPY
After 13:00: 1 day charge of the room. (depends on availability)

Luggage service

Q.Can we leave our luggage before check-in time?

Yes, you can leave your luggage before check-in time.
Please feel free to ask at our Front desk before going out for sightseeing.

Q.Can we send our luggage to the hotel in advance?

We will accept your luggage in advance, but please refrain from sending any food materials or anything we need to keep with certain temperature.
And make sure to write your reservation name in English with your check in date on the slip.
For those packages you’ll be able to specify the arrival date, please make sure to specify the arrival date to your check in date.
Please be noted that if the packages will be over 5 packages, and arrive to our hotel before your check in date, it will be charged from package #6. The fare will be 800JPY per package.
It’ll be highly appreciated for you to let us know the exact amount of your package in advance.

Q.Can we send out our luggage from the hotel?

Yes, you can send them out with Japan Postal service, items up to 170cm in total of hight, width and depth or 30kg.

Q.Can you keep our luggage after check-out?

Yes, you are welcome to leave your luggage after check-out until midnight, free of charge. Please don't hesitate to ask.

Rooms

Q.Do you have a single room?

No, we don't have any single room in our hotel. But you may use our double or twin room as single use purpose.
Please contact us directly for further details.

Q.Do you have connecting rooms?

No, we do not have connecting rooms. We'll try to locate your rooms as close to each other as possible, so please let us know if you have reserved multipule rooms.

Q.How many people can stay in one room?

Maximum 2 guests can stay in one room.

Q.Can I use an extra bed in the room?

No, we're sorry to say that we don't have any extra bed in our hotel.

Q.Do you have accessible rooms?

We have an accessible room in south wing, so please inquire via email for availability.

Q.Do you have smoking room?

Yes, we have smoking rooms available with Moderate Double and Deluxe Twin rooms in North wing. But all rooms in South wing are non-smoking.
*Smoking is prohibited in balcony of non-smoking rooms. There are several smoking area on the ground floor of North/South wing.

Q.Is there a refregirator in the room?

Personal refrigerator without freezer is available for use in each room. Please let us know if you want to use the freezer. 
Ice machine is located on North wing 2F.

Q.Can we use internet in the room?

Free WiFi service is available in our facility. Please check our ID and Password in the service information we provide by the time of check in.
There is no LAN cable connection available in our hotel.

Q.Is there any room wear in the room?

Yes, there is a Japanese style room wear which you can also use as a pajamas. You can wear this to visit our in-house facilities including restaurant, lounge, public bath and patio.

Q.Can we invite my friends into the room?

Non-staying guests entering the rooms are strictly prohibited.
For entrance of third party in the room, extra fee will be charged to your room.
When you'll have any guests to the hotel, please use our patio of North wing.

Q.Can we specify the room to stay?

We may not guarantee your room to be specific one but we will leave your request in your reservation.

Q.Is there any place where we can have coffee or tea in the hotel?

There are free café corners in North and South wing during your stay.

Please help yourself and enjoy several kinds of our house-roasted coffee, black tea, flavored tea and green tea.

Q.What kind of breakfast do you serve?

We serve both carefully chosen Japanese and Western buffet style breakfast at Restaurant, North wing 1F, from 7:00 to 10:00 (9:30 last order) with 2,300JPY per person. 

Please enjoy our breakfast from over 40 kinds of special menu, such as rice directly sent from the farms and milled in house with selected egg recipe, soup with full ingredients, salad homemade bread and more.

Q.What kind of dinner do you serve?

We serve with the special price exclusive for our house guests only at Restaurant & Bar, North wing 1F, from 5pm to 11pm.
Last order: food 22:00 / drink 22:30

From light meals to the dinner of your special occasion, you'll be able to choose your dishes from variety line-up.
Also, please don't miss our fresh baked TEPPAN-YAKI menu and seasonal menu with carefully chosen ingredients.

Q.What kind of drinks can we enjoy at your bar counter?

Yes, we have a bar counter, North wing 1F Restaurant & Bar.
We serve our welcome drink from 17:00 to 22:00 at this bar counter.
And you can order meals from the restaurant to go and take them back to your room to enjoy at this bar counter.
The oroders for take out menu will be available from 17:00 to 22:00 and other drinks will be available until 22:30.

Q.Can we use restaurant without staying at the hotel?

We're sorry, but any facilities in our hotel is exclusive for our house guests only.
Only when you are having a meal with our house guests, you are able to take a seat with the guests.

Transportation

Q.How far from Kyoto station to the hotel?

Approximately 2 minutes from Kyoto station Hachijo West Gate exit.
After you cross Hachijo Dori st., please come down Muromachi Dori st., MK Taxi station as your landmark, for about 200m and you can find our hotel on your left.

Q.Do you have a parking lot?

No, we don't have a parking lot here in our facility.
Please use the public parking lot around the hotel. For futher information please ask our staff for details.

We strongly recommend you to use public transportation inside downtown Kyoto since there will be heavy traffic and difficult to find a parking space even on weekdays.

Q.Is there anything you can offer to celebrate our special occasion?

As we would like to help you making another everlasting memories on your special occasion, please feel free to contact us in advance. 
We'll be happy to arrange cakes, bouquet, balloons and more as many as possible.

Q.Is there any pharmaceutical or medicine in your hotel?

No, we don't have any pharmaceutical or medicine in our hotel.
You can find some pharmacies nearby.

Q.Is laundry service available in your hotel?

Yes, your laundry will be back to our Front desk by 19:00 on the same day you bring in to our Front desk before 10:00. 
*Laundry service will be closed irregularly, so please ask our staff at Front desk in advance.

Q.Is there any original goods exclusive for the house guests?

Yes, there are several amenities you can purchase at our Front desk. Ex.) SAMUE, monk's non-spiritual clothes, 3,000JPY

Facilities

Q.Do you have public bath?

Yes, we have Japanese style public bath for both ladies and gentlemen. You also have a bath tub and shower in your room as well, but we hope you'll enjoy our public bath to relax and release yourself from the stress of long journey.
Opening hour: 16:00-1:00/ 6:00-10:00

Please bring all the towels from your room including body towel.
You are welcome to wear our house coat, SAMUE, and brown slippers in the room to go out to our public bath.

Q.Is there smoking area in the hotel?

Yes, we do have smoking area both in North and South wing.

Q.Can we borrow a wheel chair?

Yes, we have one wheel chair in our hotel.
Please contact us in advance for this wheel chair to use.

Q.Do you have ice machine?

Yes, it is located on North wing 2F near vending machine.

Q.Is washing machine available?

Yes, there is self-laundry room with washing machine and dryer in South wing 1F. Please stop by at front desk for detergent, free of charge.

Q.Do you have fitness center?

We have four running machines in gym room, South wing 1F.

Q.Is there vending machine?

Yes, we have vending machines in both wings, North 2F and South 1F.

Due to the same reason to make relaxing atmosphere for every guests in our hotel, we do not accept any group reservation with 3 or more rooms for one party.
