Hotel Policies

Children & Group Bookings

Due to the structural layout of our property and our commitment to providing a relaxing, adults-only resort experience, we are unable to accommodate children aged 12 and under, as well as group bookings of 3 or more rooms or 5 or more guests. We appreciate your understanding.

Guests Under the Age of 18

If a guest is a minor (under 18) staying alone, or if all guests in a reservation are minors, we require a signed Consent Form from a parent or legal guardian. Please send the completed form by email, mail, or fax no later than 7 days before the check-in date.

Note: One Consent Form is required per minor guest.

Cancellation Policy

If you booked online, please cancel or modify your reservation through the confirmation/change/cancellation page provided at the time of booking.
The following cancellation fees will apply:
5 days before check-in: 20% of the room rate
1 day before check-in: 50% of the room rate
On the day of check-in: 80% of the room rate
No-show (without prior notice): 100% of the room rate
Please note that cancellation policies may vary depending on the booking site or number of guests.

Terms and Conditions of Accommodation

Scope of Application

Article 1
1.These Terms and Conditions of Accommodation and any related agreements entered into between the Hotel and the guest shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions. Matters not provided for herein shall be governed by applicable laws and generally established practices.
2.If the Hotel agrees to a special arrangement that does not conflict with applicable laws or established practices, such special arrangement shall take precedence over these Terms and Conditions.

Application for an Accommodation Contract

Article 2
1.A person wishing to enter into an accommodation contract with the Hotel shall provide the following information to the Hotel:
(1) Name of the guest
(2) Date of stay and estimated arrival time
(3) Accommodation charges
(4) Other information deemed necessary by the Hotel
2.If a guest requests an extension of their stay beyond the originally agreed departure date while staying at the Hotel, the Hotel shall treat the request as a new application for an accommodation contract at the time the request is made.

Conclusion of the Accommodation Contract

Article 3
1.An accommodation contract shall be deemed concluded when the Hotel accepts the application described in the preceding Article. However, this shall not apply if the Hotel can prove that it did not accept the application.
2.Once an accommodation contract has been concluded pursuant to the preceding paragraph, the guest shall pay an advance payment designated by the Hotel by the date specified by the Hotel, up to the amount of the basic accommodation charge for the stay.
3.The advance payment shall first be applied to the accommodation charges ultimately payable by the guest. If circumstances arise to which Articles 6 or 16 apply, the payment shall be applied first to cancellation fees and then to compensation for damages. Any remaining balance shall be refunded when payment is made in accordance with Article 11.
4.If the advance payment described in Paragraph 2 is not paid by the date specified by the Hotel, the accommodation contract shall cease to be effective. This shall apply only when the Hotel has notified the guest of the payment deadline when specifying the date for payment.

Exemption from Advance Payment

Article 4
1.Notwithstanding Paragraph 2 of the preceding Article, the Hotel may agree to a special arrangement under which an advance payment is not required after the accommodation contract has been concluded.
2.If the Hotel does not request an advance payment when accepting an application for an accommodation contract, or does not specify a payment deadline for such advance payment, the Hotel shall be deemed to have agreed to the special arrangement described in the preceding paragraph.

Refusal to Enter into an Accommodation Contract

Article 5
1.The Hotel may refuse to enter into an accommodation contract in any of the following circumstances:
(1) When the application does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
(2) When there are no rooms available due to full occupancy.
(3) When the Hotel determines that the person seeking accommodation is likely to engage in conduct that violates applicable laws, public order, or generally accepted standards of conduct in connection with their stay.
(4) When the Hotel determines that the person seeking accommodation falls under any of the following categories:
 a. A criminal organization as defined by the Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members (Act No. 77 of 1991), a member of such an organization, an associate member, an affiliated person, or any other antisocial force.
 b. A corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by a criminal organization or its members.
 c. A corporation whose officers include a member of a criminal organization.
(5) When the person seeking accommodation has engaged in conduct that causes significant inconvenience or disturbance to other guests.
(6) When the person seeking accommodation is clearly recognized as suffering from an infectious disease.
(7) When violent or unreasonable demands are made in connection with the accommodation, or when demands exceeding a reasonable scope are made.
(8) When the Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to a natural disaster, facility failure, or other unavoidable circumstances.

Guest's Right to Cancel the Accommodation Contract

Article 6
1.A guest may cancel the accommodation contract by notifying the Hotel.
2.If a guest cancels all or part of the accommodation contract for reasons attributable to the guest, the Hotel may charge a cancellation fee in accordance with Appendix 2. This shall not apply when the guest cancels the accommodation contract before the payment of an advance payment requested by the Hotel under Article 3, Paragraph 2 and before the specified payment deadline. However, if the Hotel has agreed to the special arrangement described in Article 4, Paragraph 1, a cancellation fee may be charged only when the Hotel has notified the guest of the obligation to pay such fee at the time the special arrangement was agreed upon.
3.If a guest does not arrive by 10:00 PM on the scheduled check-in date without contacting the Hotel, or, if an estimated arrival time has been provided in advance, within two hours after that time, the Hotel may deem the accommodation contract to have been cancelled by the guest.

Hotel's Right to Cancel the Accommodation Contract

Article 7
1.The Hotel may cancel an accommodation contract in any of the following circumstances:
(1) When the guest is deemed likely to engage in conduct that violates applicable laws, public order, or generally accepted standards of conduct in connection with their stay, or when the guest is found to have engaged in such conduct.
(2) When the guest falls under any of the following categories:
 a. A criminal organization, member of a criminal organization, associate member, affiliated person, or other antisocial force.
 b. A corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by a criminal organization or its members.
 c. A corporation whose officers include a member of a criminal organization.
(3) When the guest engages in conduct that causes significant inconvenience or disturbance to other guests.
(4) When the guest is clearly recognized as suffering from an infectious disease.
(5) When violent or unreasonable demands are made in connection with the accommodation, or when demands exceeding a reasonable scope are made.
(6) When the Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to circumstances arising from a natural disaster or other force majeure.
(7) When the guest fails to comply with the Hotel's rules prohibiting smoking in bed, tampering with fire safety equipment, or other prohibited activities necessary for fire prevention.
2.When the Hotel cancels the accommodation contract pursuant to the preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall not charge the guest for any accommodation services or other services that have not yet been provided.

Registration

Article 8
1.On the day of arrival, guests shall register the following information at the Hotel's front desk:
(1) Guest's name, address, and telephone number
(2) For foreign guests: nationality, passport number, port of entry, and date of entry into Japan
(3) Departure date and estimated departure time
(4) Other information deemed necessary by the Hotel
2.If a guest intends to make payment under Article 11 using accommodation vouchers, credit cards, or other forms of payment in lieu of currency, such means of payment shall be presented at the time of registration.

Hours of Use of Guest Rooms

Article 9
1.Guest rooms may be used from 2:00 PM until 11:00 AM the following day.
2.Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the Hotel may permit use of a guest room outside these hours. Additional charges will apply.

Compliance with Hotel Rules

Article 10
Guests shall comply with the rules established and posted by the Hotel while on the Hotel premises.

Payment of Charges

Article 11
1.The breakdown and calculation of accommodation charges and other fees payable by the guest shall be as set forth in Appendix 1.
2.Accommodation charges and other fees shall be paid at the front desk in cash or by traveler's checks, accommodation vouchers, credit cards, or other payment methods approved by the Hotel, upon arrival or whenever requested by the Hotel.
3.Accommodation charges shall still be payable even if the guest voluntarily chooses not to stay after the Hotel has made the guest room available for use.

Hotel's Responsibility

Article 12
1.If the Hotel causes damage to a guest through the performance or non-performance of the accommodation contract or any related agreement, the Hotel shall compensate the guest for such damage, unless the damage was caused by circumstances not attributable to the Hotel.
2.The Hotel maintains hotel liability insurance to cover incidents such as fire.

When the Contracted Guest Room Cannot Be Provided

Article 13
1.If the Hotel is unable to provide the guest room reserved by the guest, the Hotel shall, with the guest's consent, arrange alternative accommodation at another facility with conditions as similar as reasonably possible.
2.If the Hotel is unable to arrange alternative accommodation as described above, the Hotel shall pay the guest compensation equivalent to the applicable cancellation fee, which shall be applied toward compensation for damages. However, this compensation shall not be paid if the inability to provide the guest room is due to circumstances not attributable to the Hotel.

Handling of Deposited Items

Article 14
1.If any loss or damage occurs to an item deposited by a guest at the front desk, the Hotel shall compensate the guest for the resulting damage unless the loss or damage was caused by force majeure. However, with respect to cash and valuables, if the Hotel has requested the guest to declare the type and value of such items and the guest has failed to do so, the Hotel's liability shall be limited to JPY 100,000.
2.If any loss or damage occurs to belongings, cash, or valuables brought into the Hotel by a guest due to the intentional act or negligence of the Hotel, the Hotel shall compensate the guest for the resulting damage. However, for items whose type and value were not declared in advance by the guest, the Hotel's liability shall be limited to JPY 100,000.

Storage of Guests' Baggage and Personal Belongings

Article 15
1.If a guest's baggage arrives at the Hotel before the guest's stay, the Hotel will store the baggage and hand it to the guest at check-in only if the Hotel has agreed in advance to receive it.
2.If baggage or personal belongings are left at the Hotel after check-out and the owner does not provide instructions or cannot be identified, the Hotel will handle the items in accordance with the Lost and Found Act of Japan.
3.The Hotel's liability for the storage of baggage and personal belongings in the cases described in the preceding two paragraphs shall be governed by Article 14, Paragraph 1 for Paragraph 1 above, and Article 14, Paragraph 2 for Paragraph 2 above.

Guest's Responsibility

Article 16
If the Hotel suffers damage due to the intentional act or negligence of a guest, the guest shall compensate the Hotel for such damage.

Notes:
1. The percentages (%) represent the cancellation fee as a percentage of the basic accommodation charge.
2. If the number of nights is reduced, the cancellation fee applicable to the number of days corresponding to the shortened stay will be charged.
3. Group reservations for 7 or more guests are not accepted.
4. Different cancellation fees may apply during specially designated periods. Cancellation policies may also vary depending on the plan booked. Please check the cancellation terms for your specific plan.
